In an earlier blog post, we spoke about why we don’t use zips in our sustainably-made organic waxed canvas backpacks. The main reason is that backpacks (and clothes and accessories in general) last longer without zips, as they’re a notorious weak point.
Our bags still need something to hold them together, however.
We have two main aims with our british-made bags; to make them as locally and sustainably as possible, and to make them last as long as possible. Any buckle for our roll-top backpacks would need to fulfill both of these things.
