Materials
Our hardwearing, weatherproof, GOTS certified organic dry-waxed cotton uses 88% less water and 62% less energy than conventional cotton. It also uses zero toxic chemicals in its production.
This bag is almost plastic-free (we use a recycled polyester thread).
WildishReMade
Our bags are made to last a lifetime, but we get that not everyone wants to keep something that long.
To avoid your bag ending up in the back of the closet, or worse, the bin, we will take your bag back in exchange for Wildish credit (10% of the bags original value).
We will then recycle the parts from that bag and make it into something new.

Frequently Asked Questions
What can I fit in this bag?
Everything.
Are your bags waterproof?
Our bags are not totally waterproof, very few are. But they are pretty damn close. We spent an hour throwing them around in a waterfall and water only got in when we forgot to roll the top down....
Can I customise this bag?
Other than picking the bag closure type, we aren't offering any other customisations on this bag.
How long will it take for me to get my bag?
Once we close pre-orders on the 21st, we'll order the fabric from British Millerain, which is already in stock, so that will ship to Rowan, and she'll start making the bags. You should receive your bag within 6 weeks of ordering. We'll keep you updated along the way.
Made by Rowan
Every Wildish bag is made in small batches by highly skilled hands in Suffolk, Leeds and Glasgow.
This batch of special edition bags will be made by Rowan and her team in Glasgow.
We work with people who care deeply about their craft, and we only make what we know we can stand behind.
Material highlights
Our bags are made from GOTS certified organic dry-waxed cotton canvas from British Millerain in Lancashire. They have been dyeing and proofing cotton for over 100 years and this material is one of their latest creations. It has a totally dry finish (dry-waxed doesn't always mean totally), is waterproof, PFC free, and is machine washable! However, we don't recommend you wash it often.
Design notes
I love those big blue famous bags, they are just such a useful size. I've been trying to convince Nell to let us make some for years, and with the help of 300 people on the internet, I finally won.
